Required: Poser 4 or newer OR DAZ Studio (free or advanced) OR ZBrush 3 or newer

Installation Instructions:

Extract the zip archive anywhere on your computer. Poser users must then copy the Runtime folder to their Poser folder. DAZ Studio users must copy the Runtime folder to their content folder and the Materials folder to anywhere that DAZ Studio can find it e.g. Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio3\content. In case DAZ Studio cannot find the folder you may need to run a content search when starting the program (see your handbook for details). Application Instructions:

Instructions for Poser and DAZ Studio users:

1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio.

2. Open the Character library and then HellGuardian.

3. Load the Hell Guardian figure NOTE: The figure loads without textures.

4. Poser users should open the Pose library and then HellGuardian.

5. Poser 4 or newer users should load the Hell Guardian P4+ MAT and Poser 6 or newer users should load the P6+ MAT to activate the textures.

6. DAZ Studio users should navigate to where they copied the Materials folder, open that folder and then open Hell Guardian.

7. DAZ Studio users should load the HellGuardian MAT.dsb material preset to activate the textures NOTE: The Poser MAT files will also work to a certain extent in DAZ Studio, but the material preset gives the best results.

8. You can now pose, light and render the figure however you want NOTE: to pose the different body parts you will need to select them from the drop down menu because you can only select the neck part by clicking in the preview window.

Conforming the figure to M4:

1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio.

2. Load M4 into the scene and turn off IK and zero the figure.

3. Open the Pose library and then HellGuardian.

4. Load the M4 Hide Head MAT to hide M4's head NOTE: load this MAT after you have loaded the texture you want to use with M4.

5. Follow the steps 2.-7. above.

6. Select the Hell Guardian figure and conform it to M4.

7. The Hell Guardian figure will now act like a mask for M4 and follow his poses and movements.

Instructions for ZBrush users:

1. Start ZBrush.

2. Select Load from the tool menu.

3. Load the ZBrushHellGuardian.ZTL from the ZTools folder and paint it into your scene.

4. Click edit to make any changes you want to the Hell Guardian tool.

Tips:
I have included texture templates in the textures folder for you to make your own textures.
