Pure by adamthwaites copyright 2014 http://www.most-digital-creations.com/pure.htm All of this product's content was created by adamthwaites (Adam Thwaites) Product support: Admin@most-digital-creations.com Files List: ReadMePure.txt (see the list below for all other included files) Needed Files List: Poser 9 or newer (with DSON Importer) OR DAZ Studio 4.6 or newer (free, advanced or pro) PLUS Genesis 2 Female Installation Instructions: 1. DAZ Studio: Extract the Zip folder inside your DAZ Studio content folder ("My Library"). This can usually be found in Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library. 2. Poser: Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime is located or click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded. The zip folder also needs to be extracted inside the folder where you installed the "Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials for Poser" if this is not the same as where your Runtime folder is located. It is important that the "data" folder for this product is copied into the existing "data" folder that was created when you installed the "Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials for Poser". (I have found that the best practice for using DSON Importer is to install the "Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials for Poser" into the same folder as your Poser Runtime folder so that the "data" folder is also located there.) 3. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Camisole\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ pure_camisole_16368.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Camisole\Morphs\MostDigitalCreations\Base\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FBMExpandAll.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Camisole\UV Sets\MostDigitalCreations\Base\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ default.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Knickers\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ pure_knickers_19903.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Knickers\Morphs\MostDigitalCreations\Base\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FBMExpandAll.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \data\MostDigitalCreations\Pure\Knickers\UV Sets\MostDigitalCreations\Base\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ default.dsf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \People\Genesis 2 Female\Clothing\Pure\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Camisole.duf Camisole.duf.png Knickers.duf Knickers.duf.png ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \Runtime\libraries\Character\Pure\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Camisole.cr2 Camisole.duf Camisole.png Camisole.py Knickers.cr2 Knickers.duf Knickers.png Knickers.py ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ \Runtime\textures\Pure\ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pure_Camisole_UVMAP.jpg Pure_flowery_1.jpg Pure_Knickers_UVMAP.jpg Application Instructions: Using the package with G2F and DAZ Studio 4.6 or newer: 1. Start DAZ Studio and load Genesis 2 Female into the scene. Select Genesis 2 Female. 2. Open \People\Genesis 2 Female\Clothing\Pure and load the item/s of clothing that you want to use. 3. Any morphs/shapes that you set for Genesis 2 Female will be automatically transferred to the clothing. 4. The smoothing modifier smooths the clothing figure for best results when a pose or morph/shape for Genesis 2 Female is loaded. 5. Changing the color: First, make sure that the Actors, Wardrobe & Props tab is selected at the top of the viewport. You can easily change the color of the clothing by opening the Scene tab and then selecting one of the items of clothing e.g. Pure Camisole. Next open the Surfaces tab and select the item of clothing again e.g. Pure Camisole in the Editor menu of the Surfaces tab. You should now be able to see the default color at the top under the heading "Diffuse Color". Click the small arrow at the bottom right of the color bar and select the color you want to use. 6. Adding a texture: First you will need a square image that you want to use as the texture. You can use any size, but 2048 pixels or larger will give you the best quality. Next follow the instructions in step 5. and set the Diffuse Color to white. Click the button to the left of the color bar and then click Browse. Open the image that you want to use as the texture. An example texture is included in \Runtime\textures\Pure\ along with the UV maps for the clothing. Using the package with G2F and Poser 9 or newer: 1. Start Poser and load Genesis 2 Female into the scene. Select Genesis 2 Female. 2. Open the Character library and then Pure. Load the items of clothing that you want to use (select Genesis 2 Female each time before loading the clothing item). 3. The clothing will automatically follow any poses that you load for Genesis 2 Female. 4. If you load a morph/shape for Genesis 2 Female click on Scripts in the top menu then go to DSON Support and finally click Transfer Active Morphs. The morph/shape used will then be transferred to the clothing. 5. Using the Morphing Tool to smooth the clothing: Poser doesn't have a smoothing modifier yet, but you can use the Morphing Tool to achieve the same effect and make clothing bends look more natural. Select the item of clothing to smooth and click the Morphing Tool icon in the Editing Tools menu. In the Morphing Tool menu click the Create tab and then click the Smooth icon. Now you can smooth the area of the clothing that you want. Change Radius and Magnitude as required. 6. Changing the color: First, select the item of clothing that you want to color. Next open the material room. Under the heading Diffuse Color at the top left you should be able to see the default color of the clothing. Click the color bar and select the color that you want to use. 7. Adding a texture: First you will need a square image that you want to use as the texture. You can use any size, but 2048 pixels or larger will give you the best quality. Next follow the instructions in step 6. and set the Diffuse Color to white. Click in the area under the color bar and then click Browse. Open the image that you want to use as the texture. An example texture is included in \Runtime\textures\Pure\ along with the UV maps for the clothing. I hope you enjoy this unique clothing package for Genesis 2 Female!
