NOTE: The character (morph and texture) and hair are NOT included. The character is my "V4 Celebrity Series: Jenny" and the hair is "Fable Hair" by the fantastic Aery Soul team.


  
Installation Instructions:

1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or your DAZ/studio/content folder.

2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below.

Application Instructions:

1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio.

2. Empty the scene and then load V4 or V4.1 and turn of IK and zero the figure. NOTE: You can now load your favorite V4 character that you want to use. After you have set up your character open the Pose library and then SchoolDays. Load the Body RESET pose to set your character´s body up so that the School Days clothing will fit. Your character`s head will not be effected and will look the same.

3. Open the Character library and then SchoolDays.

4. Load the items of clothing that you want to use *IMPORTANT* Make sure you select V4 every time before you load an item of clothing.

5. Parent each item to V4. NOTE: The Bra needs to be magnetised to V4 using the Magnetise pose that comes with the V4 Base. Do NOT magnetise any other items of clothing though.

6. If you load all items of clothing at once you will see that they do not fit over each other properly. Each item was designed to fit V4 but not to fit over the top of other items. To fit items over the top of each other select the body of the clothing figure and then set the various fit morphs in the dials menu to get a good fit.

7. Select V4 and load your favourite pose. NOTE: See the Tips and Limitations section for help on fixing any poke-through you might get.

8. Use the various movement morphs included in the clothing figures to set up the look you want. Simply select the whole body of each clothing figure and set the dials for each morph in the dials menu.

9. Render your scene. NOTE: I used a single white spotlight with shadows turned on for the promo renders. 


Tips and Limitations:

To get rid of any slight poke-through you can set body parts of V4 that are under the clothing to invisible. You will need to do this for the sleeves of the Blazer if you want to bend V4´s arms a lot. The same can be done with body parts of clothing figures e.g in some poses the bra straps poke-through the blouse a little bit. Just set the shoulder parts of the bra to invisible to stop this.

You can also adjust your pose a little bit or use the various morphs included with the clothing figures to stop poke-through.

Using a combination of these techniques you will get a perfect fit for most poses.



I included templates for all the items for you to make your own textures or transmaps too. You can give away the textures you make for free or you can sell them.
