Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime is located OR inside your DAZ Studio content "My Library" folder. If you are using one of the newest versions of Poser you should click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Presets\Materials\Tala Hair\ Tala Hair DS.dsa Tala Hair DS.dsa.png Tala Hair DS.duf Tala Hair DS.duf.png ..\Runtime\Geometries\TalaHair\ Tala Hair.obj ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\TalaHair\ Tala Hair.cr2 Tala Hair.png ..\Runtime\textures\TalaHair\ TalaHair_Tex.jpg TalaHair_Tr.jpg Application Instructions: Using the hair in Poser or DAZ Studio with V4: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and load V4 into the scene. 2. Open the Character library and then TalaHair. (DAZ Studio Poser Formats, My Library, Figures, TalaHair) 3. Load the Tala Hair figure and conform it to V4. 4. The hair is now ready and you can pose V4 etc. and then render. 5. Use the best quality render settings that your system can handle. 7. Load the material setting for the hair for DAZ Studio from \Presets\Materials\Tala Hair\ Using the hair in Poser with V4WM: 1. Load V4WM into your scene in Poser. 2. Go to file, import and choose to import a Wavefront OBJ. 3. Navigate to ..\Runtime\Geometries\TalaHair\Tala Hair.obj 4. Import the OBJ. 5. Select the OBJ and go to the setup room. 6. Load the V4WM figure into the setup room. 7. Click No when asked if you would like to transfer groups. 8. Go back to the pose room. 9. Conform the figure to your V4WM figure. Using the hair in DAZ Studio with Genesis: 1. Start DAZ Studio and load Genesis into the scene. Select Genesis. 2. In the Content Library you can now open Poser Formats, My Library, Figures, TalaHair. 3. Load the Tala Hair figure. 4. In the pop-up menu select Victoria 4 as the figure it was originally designed for and Hair>Long as the type of item. 5. DAZ Studio will now automatically fit the hair to Genesis. 6. When it is finished you can pose Genesis however you want and load any morphs that you want (e.g. Victoria 5, Stephanie 5) and the hair will follow. 7.
