Needed Files List:

Poser 5 or newer OR DAZ Studio 4 or newer (free, advanced or pro) PLUS Victoria 4.2 Base figure or V4WM with Morphs++ (Note: Morphs++ are NOT required for the head morph)

Installation Instructions:

1. Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime is located OR inside your DAZ Studio content folder ("My Library"). If you are using one of the newest versions of Poser you should click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded.

2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below.

Application Instructions:


Using the package with V4 or V4WM and Poser:


1. Start Poser and load V4 into the scene.

2. Open the Pose library and then open Alana.

3. Load the Alana Head INJ (nothing will happen yet). The REM file can be loaded to remove the morph.

4. To load the Alana morph load Alana Full MORPH. (You need to have V4 Morphs++ installed) OR to load the Alana Elite morph load Alana Elite MORPH. (You need to have V4 Elite Morphs installed)

5. The head morph can be used on its own by loading the INJ pose and then selecting the whole body of the figure and opening the INJection Channels:Community menu. Set the value of the morph to whatever you require.

6. Load one of the MAT poses to add the textures.

7. The make up options can be turned on by loading the Alana M1-M4 MAT poses after loading the Alana Full MAT. The Alana Full MAT features realistic eye textures that look best when the eyes are not moved. If you want to pose or animate the eyes, please load the Alana Alt Eyes MAT after loading the Alana Full MAT.

8. The Alana SSS MAT poses work the same as the normal MAT poses, but include advanced material settings for Poser 9 and above for creating very realistic skin sub surface scattering.



Using the package with Victoria 4 in DAZ Studio 4 or newer:


1. Start DAZ Studio and load V4 into the scene.

2. Open Poser Formats, My Library, Pose, Alana.

3. Load the Alana Head INJ (nothing will happen yet). The REM file can be loaded to remove the morph.

4. To load the Alana morph load Alana Full MORPH. (You need to have V4 Morphs++ installed) OR to load the Alana Elite morph load Alana Elite MORPH. (You need to have V4 Elite Morphs installed)

5. The head morph can be used on its own by loading the INJ pose and then selecting the whole body of the figure and opening the INJection Channels:Community menu. Set the value of the morph to whatever you require.

6. To load the textures and material settings open \Presets\Materials\Alana\

7. The make up options can be changed by loading the Alana M1-M4 MAT poses. The Alana All MAT features realistic eye textures that look best when the eyes are not moved. If you want to pose or animate the eyes, please load the Alana Alt Eyes MAT after loading the Alana All MAT. There are both .dsa and .duf file formats for all content. dsa files are for use in DAZ Studio 4 or older and duf files are for use in DAZ Studio 4.5 or newer.
