Naturally V4: Casey by adamthwaites copyright 2009 http://www.most-digital-creations.com All of this product's content was created by adamthwaites (Adam Thwaites) using the following vendor resources: Merchant Resource for V4 by ApoGraphix RMMT Life Like Eyes for V4 by Rebelmommy Product Support: Admin@most-digital-creations.com Files List: ReadMeCasey.txt (see the list below for all other included files) Needed Files List: Poser 4 or newer OR DAZ Studio PLUS any Victoria 4 Base figure (NOTE: No Morphs++ are required to use this character) Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or DAZ Studio content folder. NOTE: if using an early German version of Poser remember to copy the folders found in the Runtime\libraries\Pose folder after extraction to Runtime\libraries\Posen, Props to Gegenstande, Character to Figuren or else the product will not function properly, this may also be true for other languages other than English. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\Casey Hair\ Casey Hair.cr2 Casey Hair.obj Casey Hair.png Casey Hair.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Pose\Casey\ Casey Activate.png Casey Activate.pz2 Casey Activate.rsr Casey Body REM.png Casey Body REM.pz2 Casey Body REM.rsr Casey Body.png Casey Body.pz2 Casey Body.rsr Casey Head REM.png Casey Head REM.pz2 Casey Head REM.rsr Casey Head.png Casey Head.pz2 Casey Head.rsr Casey MAT.png Casey MAT.pz2 Casey MAT.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Props\Casey\ Clothing Magnets.png Clothing Magnets.pp2 Clothing Magnets.rsr ..\Runtime\textures\Casey\ BrownTex1.jpg BrownTex2.jpg BrownTex3.jpg BrownTex4.jpg CaseyEyeTrans.jpg CaseyEyes.jpg CaseyFace.jpg CaseyFaceB.jpg CaseyLashes.jpg CaseyLimbs.jpg CaseyLimbsB.jpg CaseyTeeth.jpg CaseyTeethB.jpg CaseyTorso.jpg CaseyTorsoB.jpg ScalpTemp.jpg StrandTemp.jpg Trans2.jpg Trans3.jpg Trans4.jpg Trans5.jpg Application Instructions: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and load V4 into the scene. Turn off IK and zero the figure. 2. Open the Pose library and then open Casey. 3. Load the poses as you require. To activate the morph load the Casey Head and Casey Body poses first and then the Casey Activate pose. The Activate pose activates head AND body morphs. To load the morphs independently firstly load the Casey Head or Casey Body pose that you want to use and then select the whole body of V4 and look for the morph dial in INJ Channels, Community. You can then set the dial to whatever value you like. 0.000 to 1.000 work best. 4. Load the MAT Pose to activate the textures (Single MAT Pose for all versions of Poser and DAZ Studio, no material settings are included as the MAT pose includes all of this information). You may want to change the setting for the bump mapping. You can do this in the material room or surface select menu. See your handbook for details. 5. Open the Character library and then Casey Hair. 6. Load the hair figure and parent it to V4. 7. Pose the figure, add lights and render your scene. I would recommend using the highest quality render settings for your program and computer system. 8. How to use the included clothing magnets to help fit clothes to the Casey body shape: Instructions for Poser: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the Casey morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the Casey Props library. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet and adjust it using the dials e.g. Trans(x) etc. 6. Select each body part of the outfit in turn and click Object in the toolbar and then spawn morph target. 7. Give the morph targets the same name e.g. Casey 8. When you have made a morph target for each body part you can delete all of the magnets. 9. Select each body part in turn once again and set the morph dial to 1.000 e.g. if you named your morph target Casey then set the Casey morph dial to 1.000 10. Click Figure/Character in the toolbar and then spawn full body morph (it's the fourth option from the top). Enter a name for the FBM e.g. Casey 11. Reset the figure. 12. Select the whole body and set the morph dial e.g Casey to see it working. 13. Now all you need to do is save the item of clothing back into the library for future use. Instructions for DAZ Studio: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the Casey morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the Props Casey content menu. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet in the scene menu and adjust it using the dials e.g. xtran etc. 6. Use the scene menu to select all of the body parts of the clothing. 7. In the D-Form menu click Spawn Morph. 8. Give the morph a name e.g. Casey 9. In the scene menu click the small arrow at the top right and go to Select, Select all D-Forms. 10. Right click on one of the selected items and click remove from scene. DAZ Studio will now delete all of the magnets. 11. Click the small arrow again and go to Select, Select All. 12. Find the morph that you spawned in the dials menu e.g. Casey and set it to 100%. 13. To save the morphed clothing you will need DeltaX15's MorphToCR2 script. You can get it here: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=44893&flatnum=1 or here http://4shared.com/dir/722776/10801f63/DS_Scripts.html 14. Follow the instructions included with the script to save the morphed clothing. I hope you enjoy this character for V4! If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above.
