Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime is located OR to your DAZ Studio content folder. If you are using one of the newest versions of Poser you should click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Runtime\libraries\Props\DevilsRidge\ Backdrop.png Backdrop.pp2 Cactus.png Cactus.pp2 Clump Thick.png Clump Thick.pp2 Clump Thin.png Clump Thin.pp2 Dust.png Dust.pp2 Grass Thick.png Grass Thick.pp2 Grass Thin.png Grass Thin.pp2 Ground.png Ground.pp2 Pebble.png Pebble.pp2 Pebbles.png Pebbles.pp2 Rock.png Rock.pp2 Sign.png Sign.pp2 Skull.png Skull.pp2 ..\Runtime\textures\Desert\ backgroundtexture.jpg cactustexture.jpg dusttrans.jpg groundtexture.jpg groundtrans.jpg pebbletexture.jpg posttexture.jpg rocktexture.jpg signtexture.jpg skulltexture.jpg Application Instructions: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and clear the scene. 2. Open the Props library and then DevilsRidge. 3. Load the props that you would like to use. 4. You can move and scale the props using the dials to change the scene. There are many possibilities, see what you can come up with. 5. Add a light setting to the scene. You can experiment with different light settings that you own to get different effects. Adding different coloured lights will give a different atmosphere to the scene. 6. For daytime scenes I would recommend a single distant light, very light orange/pink colour and positioned above shining down on the scene with shadows set to 50%. Experiment and see what you can come up with. 7. When rendering I would recommend using the best render settings for your system and the program you are using. I hope you enjoy using these props to create your own scenes! If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above.
