Open your image manipulation application that can open PSD files. 2. Load one of the .psd files from \Runtime\textures\DigitalInk_Skulls\ 3. Load your favorite M4/V4 skin texture. LimbsSkullsM4 is for use with M4 limbs textures, LimbsSkullsV4 is for use with V4 limbs texures and TorsoSkulls can be used with either M4 or V4 torso textures. 4. Make sure that the tattoo image and your texture are the same size. The tattoo psd images are all 4000x4000 pixels. 5. If you don't know how to resize an image, check the manual of the application you are using. 6. Copy and Paste your texture into the psd image file, making sure that it is on a new layer. 7. Check your manual if you don't know how to do this. 8. Move the texture you are using on to the bottom layer so that the tattoos are on top of it. 9. Check your manual if you don't know how to do this. 10. Each tattoo layer can be turned on or off or you can rotate, move or scale the tattoos. 11. You can also make any changes you like to the images now e.g. opacity, brightness, color balance, saturation etc. 12. Check your manual for more information on how to do that using your application. 13. When you are happy with the final result save the entire image as a new .jpg texture e.g. NAMEOFYOURTEXTUREskulls.jpg and make sure you remember where you saved it. 14. Load Poser or DAZ Studio and load M4 or V4 depending on which character you made the texture for. 15. Load the MAT pose that activates the M4 texture you used e.g. if you used the limbs texture from the DAZ M4 or V4 textures then make sure you load the MAT pose to activate those. 16. Now all you need to do is change the limbs and torso textures to the new texture you created in step 13. 17. If you don't know how to do this check your Poser or DAZ Studio manual. 18. Render however you like. 19. This merchant resource also includes the original images used to create the PSD overlays. As well as being able to use the overlays for your commercial Poser and DAZ Studio characters, you are also entitled to use the included jpeg files in any of your commercial graphics projects. 20. It is very easy to make the jpeg images transparent using GIMP. Load the jpeg file in GIMP and then click Layer-Tansparency-Add Alpha Channel. Next click Layer-Transparency-Color to Alpha and then click OK. GIMP will remove all of the white color from the image making it transparent. I hope you enjoy using this tattoo merchant resource!
