NOTE II: The hair featured in some of the renders is Kozaburo´s UpDo, it is not included in this pack but I have included a texture and setup instructions. UpDo is available for free on Kozaburo´s site. NOTE III: If you don´t have the V4 Morphs you will still be able to use the Custom Ghost Head Morph on the V4 Base. Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or your DAZ/studio/content folder. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Start Poser or DAZ Studio. 2. Empty the scene and then load V4. 3. Open the Pose library and then GhostV4 MAT. 4. Load the MAT pose to activate the textures. 5. Poser users will notice that everything except V4´s head becomes invisible. To combat this simply go to the Materials room, select V4´s Torso, reduce the transparency a little and then turn the dial back up to 100%. DAZ Studio users will not experience this effect. 6. Open the Pose library and then GhostV4 INJ. 7. You can load the MOR poses and you will see instant effects. You can reset the head or body using the RESET poses. 8. To activate the Custom Head Morph simply load the Ghost INJ (you won´t see anything happen yet), select V4´s body and then look in the dials menu at Morphs: INJ Channels (Hidden): Community. You will see the Ghost dial and now you can set it as you require. To remove the Ghost INJ Morph simply set the dial to 0.000 or load the Ghost REM pose from the library. 9. Open the Props library and then GhostV4. 10. Load all the props that you require. 11. DAZ Studio users may want to set the Ambient settings for the props to a lighter colour and higher strength to get the same effects as you can see in the promo renders. 12. Open the Pose library and then GhostV4 Pose. 13. Load one of the poses. 14. You can now use the prop morphs to get the effect you want e.g the spectral trails blow to the left etc. The dials are in the dials menu after you select one of the props. 15. Open the Camera library and then GhostV4. 16. I created one camera for each pose, you can use these, try out different combinations or set the camera yourself. DAZ Studio users may want to adjust the camera a little bit. 17. Open the Light library and then GhostV4. 18. Use the corresponding light for your pose, mix and match or use your own light settings. 19. I also included the background picture I made for the promo renders, you can find it in the textures folder. 20. Render the scene. I would recommend using the best quality settings with texture filter and raytracing turned off and shadows turned on. Tips: I included a universal texture template for all of the props for you to make your own textures and transmaps. Setting up Kozaburo´s UpDo: Once you have a copy of Kozaburo´s UpDo simply load it into the scene and then use the dials to move it around and scale it to fit V4. Go to the materials room and change the texture to the texture I included (Koz tex.jpg) found in Runtime\textures\GhostV4\. You can leave the transmaps as they are, but you might also want to change the ambient light to a light grey colour so that the hair glows a bit once it is rendered. Once you have the settings you want I would recommend saving a copy of the altered hair in your GhostV4 props library. If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above.
