Poser 4 or newer OR DAZ Studio (free or advanced) PLUS Victoria 4.2 Base figure and V4 Morphs++ (NOTE: Morphs++ are NOT required to use the custom head morph)

Installation Instructions:

1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or DAZ Studio content folder. NOTE: if using an early German version of Poser remember to copy the folders found in the Runtime\libraries\Pose folder after extraction to Runtime\libraries\Posen, Props to Gegenstande, Character to Figuren or else the product will not function properly, this may also be true for other languages other than English.

2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below.

Application Instructions:


Poser instructions:

1. Open \GrandmaScenes\ from your Poser folder.

2. Load one of the scenes depending on your version of Poser. P4+ is for Poser 4 and 5 and P6+ is for Poser 6 or newer.

NOTE: These two steps are optional and are only to get the same effect as seen in the promo renders. If you want to use Grandma in one of your own scenes simply start at step 3.

3. Load the V4.2 base figure, turn off IK and zero the figure.

4. Inject the V4 Morphs++ (required for body morph) and the V4 Elite Morphs (optional).


DAZ Studio instructions:

Start from step 3. above


Instructions for Poser and DAZ Studio:

5. Open the Pose library and then Grandma.

6. Load the Grandma Head INJ pose (you will not see anything happen yet)

7. Load either Grandma Morphs++, Grandma Elite or Grandma Dress.

8. Grandma Morphs++ sets the body morph using the V4 Morphs++, Grandma Elite uses a combination of V4 Morphs++ and V4 Elite Morphs and Grandma Dress uses V4 Morphs++ for a simplified version of the body morph for using with clothing.

9. As we will be adding clothing please use the Grandma Dress for now. NOTE: Grandma Head REM removes the custom head morph.

10. Load the Grandma MAT pose to activate the textures and material settings for the character.

11. Open the Character library and then Grandma.

12. Load the items of clothing you want to use and conform the to V4.

13. After conforming the dress to V4 select it and then load the Dress Fit pose from the Grandma Pose library to fit it.

14. You can change the colour of the dress by loading one of the Dress MAT poses after selecting the dress.

15. Open the Props library and then Grandma.

16. Select V4 and then load the smart props you want to use.

17. Finally load the example pose from the Grandma Pose library (Pose 1) to pose the figure.

18. You will need to make adjustments to the dress with certain poses. To do this you should select the whole body of the dress and then use the various morphs by setting the morph dials. For the example pose you will need to turn up the dial of the Heavy morph and the Widen morph.

19. To render the scene Poser users who loaded one of the Grandma Scene files only need to click render because all of the render settings are already set up. This will make your render look just like the promo renders.

20. If you are a DAZ Studio user or you want to use your own render settings I would recommend using the highest possible quality your computer can handle with shadows turned either on or off.
