Start Poser or DAZ Studio. 2. Empty the scene and then load M4 and turn of IK and zero the figure. 3. Open the Character library and then HeroM4. 4. Load the items of clothing you want to use and conform them to M4. Remember to select M4 before you load each item. 5. If you are using the suit with other items over the top of it you will need to fit those items. Select the whole body of the item to fit and set the Fit morph dial to 1.000. 6. Open the Props library and then HeroM4. 7. Select M4 and then load the smart props you want to use. 8. You can fit the belt by using the Fit morph or scale, rotate and move it using the dials. 9. Open the Pose library and then HeroM4. 10. To stop any parts of M4's body poking through the clothing you can make parts of it invisible using the M4Hide poses. Select M4 and then load a Hide pose to do this. 11. There are hide poses for the parts of the suit also included to give the items a different look. Select an item and then load one of the poses to remove a part of it e.g. Mask Face Bottom will remove the bottom part of the mask face to make a cowl. 12. You can colour the items in the material room or surface select menu using simple colours or you can make your own textures using the templates in the HeroM4Tutor pack. For more information about how I created the three heroes used for the promo renders, you should read through the HeroM4Tutor.pdf tutorial. 13. To use the morphs that are included in the clothing in Poser you must select the whole body of an item and then set the morphs manually using the dials. To help with getting a perfect fit you can adjust the Expand dial in each item. 14. If you are using DAZ Studio then the clothing will cross talk with M4. Select M4's body and then set e.g. the Bodybuilder dial and you will see that the clothing changes shape with the figure. To get an exact fit you may need to adjust the Expand morph dial for each item. 15. The cape is an original figure, select bone_1 and then set the parent object as M4's chest for the figure. This means the cape will move with M4 when you pose him. You can also select bone_1 and move the cape manually into position. The cape can be posed using the dials for each bone and you can also use the included morphs. Select the whole body of the cape to set the morph dials. Tips and Limitations: If you use your own textures and colours this pack offers you infinite possibilities for making your own superhero or your favourite superhero from comics or movies. The only limitation is your creative imagination. If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above. I hope you enjoy this pack for M4! Cheers Adam You may use this package as you wish in your commercial and non-commercial renders. You are not permitted to redistribute the package or any of its contents without written permission.
