M4 Leading Men: James by adamthwaites copyright 2008. All of this product's content was created by adamthwaites (Adam Thwaites) using the following vendor resources: M4-Base-Resource by Nouschka-Design (Anja Möbius) RMMT Life Like Eyes for V4 by Rebelmommy Product Support: Admin@most-digital-creations.com Files List: ReadMe.txt License.txt (see the list below for all other included files) Needed Files List: Poser 5 or newer PLUS Michael 4 with Morphs++ (NOTE: Morphs++ are NOT required to use the head morph). NOTE: Also compatible with Poser 4 and DAZ Studio with the following limitations: Bump mapping will need to be set up manually. See your handbook for details. The dynamic hair will NOT work, but everything else in the pack works without any problems. Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or DAZ Studio content folder. NOTE: if using an early German version of Poser remember to copy the folders found in the Runtime\libraries\Pose folder after extraction to Runtime\libraries\Posen, Props to Gegenstande, Character to Figuren or else the product will not function properly, this may also be true for other languages other than English. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and load a fresh M4 into the scene (not one you changed and saved). Zero the figure and turn off IK. 2. Open the Pose library and then open James. 3. Load the poses as you require. To activate the morph load the INJ pose first and then the ACTIVATE pose. Remember to inject all of M4's morphs and expressions first. The head morph can be used independently to give your other characters a custom look. To do this load the James Head INJ pose and then select the whole body of M4. In the dials menu you will find the JamesHead morph dial. You can then set the dial to whatever value you like. 0.000 to 1.000 work best. 4. DAZ Studio users may need to adjust the morph and poses a little to get the best results. 5. Load the MAT Poses to activate the textures. You may want to change the setting for the bump mapping. You can do this in the material room or surface select menu. See your handbook for details. For the genital textures make sure you have loaded the M4 genital figure and it is selected. Load the MAT pose. 6. Open the Light library and then James. 7. Load the light that matches the pose you are using or mix and match. 8. Open the Camera library and then James. 9. Load the cameras that match your pose or mix and match. 10. Open the Hair library and then James. 11. Load the hair. NOTE: The hair is dynamic hair and only works in Poser 5 and newer. 12. YOu can use the hair as it is or you can run a dynamic simulation. See your handbook for details on using dynamic hair. 13. To get effects like you see in the promo renders I recommend using the highest render settings with shadows turned on. 14. DAZ Studio users can improve the MAT pose by downloading the free DAZ default shaders from daz3d.com and adding them to the skin, eyes etc. See your handbook and DAZ documentation for details. You may use this package as you wish in your commercial and non-commercial renders. You are not permitted to redistribute the package or any of its contents without written permission. I hope you enjoy this character for M4! If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above. Cheers Adam
