Start Poser or DAZ Studio. 2. Empty the scene and then load V4 and turn of IK and zero the figure. 3. Open the Character library and then LGP. 4. Load the items of clothing that you want to use *IMPORTANT* Make sure you select V4 every time before you load an item of clothing. 5. Parent each item to V4. You must also magnetise each item to V4 with the V4 magnetise poses (supplied with V4 Base). 6. Select V4 and then open the Props library and then LGP. 7. Load the smart props that you would like to use. NOTE: Make sure to select V4 before loading. 8. You will notice that some items do not fit over each other properly. To correct this select the whole body of a figure and then set the morphs using the morph dials e.g. To fit the Leotard over the TShirt first select the body of the Leotard and then set the TShirt Fit morph dial until you are happy with the fit. 9. The items of clothing contain all of the V4 and A4 FBMs, the V4 Breast Morphs plus a morph fitting for my custom Angel for V4 morph. There are also other special morphs and correction morphs included and you should select the body of each item and check through the dials menu to see what is available. 10. Depending on which version of V4 you are using and the program you are using the items will either crosstalk automatically or you will have to set the morph dials manually. 11. The best way to test this out is to select the whole body of V4 and then set one of the FBMs to a value you are happy with. You will now see the clothing follow the shape of the V4 character or nothing will happen. If nothing happens simply select the whole body of the clothing figure that is not responding and set the morph dial to the same value as you set the V4 FBM dial. NOTE: If you need to set the Angel morph dial manually it can be found in INJ Channels:Hidden:Community in the dials menu afer selecting the body of the figure. 12. The smart props do not contain FBMs, but you can scale and move these to fit the character using the dials. 13. If you have any pokethrough there are several morphs included in each item of clothing to make corrections. Select the whole body of the clothing and then set the dials e.g. Front Out until you are happy with the fit. If you are still getting pokethrough with a particular pose you can also set various body parts to invisible (see your handbook for details). As a last resort you can render one version with the body part turned on and one version with it turned off and then use a paint program to remove the unwanted areas before combining the renders into a single image. NOTE: This was NOT carried out for the promo renders, no postwork was done on them except for composition and text. 14. Open the Pose library and then LGP. 15. Load one of the poses that you would like to use. NOTE: The smart prop skirt is not compatible with all poses. After posing you may need to adjust more morphs etc. of several items of clothing to get a good fit (see step 13 for more details). You may also need to adjust the pose a little depending on how your character is set up. The poses were designed for the V4 Base without any morphs. 16. Manual color change "Infinite Colours": When you load each item they will all appear neutral, the infinite colours system lets you colour any item however you want. Here's how to do it: Select any item you want to change. Go to the material room or surface settings menus (see your handbook for more details). Select the material zone you want to change for the item. Select any diffuse color that you want, to change the item to that color. The possibilities are infinite! To make the pants into shorts simply set the legs material zone to transparent. Tips and Limitations: You can make many different styles of outfit using just the different items included in this pack and by changing the colours. I included templates to download (see link on product page) for all the items for you to make your own textures or transmaps. You can give away the textures you make for free or you can sell them. If you have any questions just send an email to the address above. I hope you enjoy this outfit for V4 and A4! Cheers Adam
