NOTE: The clothes will also work with earlier versions of Poser, but you will get error messages because of the version numbers. If you are using Poser 4 you will also need to convert the bump maps and there are no .rsr files included. NOTE II: The hair shown in the promo renders is NOT included. Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or your DAZ/studio/content folder. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\StreetwiseV4\ Jeans.cr2 Jeans.png Pants.obj Shoe L.cr2 Shoe L.obj Shoe L.png Shoe R.cr2 Shoe R.obj Shoe R.png Sweatshirt.cr2 Sweatshirt.obj Sweatshirt.png Vest.cr2 Vest.obj Vest.png ..\Runtime\textures\StreetwiseV4\Templates\ Jeans.jpg Shoe L.jpg Shoe R.jpg Sweatshirt.jpg Vest.jpg ..\Runtime\textures\StreetwiseV4\ Jeansbump.jpg Jeanstexblue.jpg Shortstrans.jpg Sweatshirtbump.jpg Sweatshirttex.jpg Vestbump.jpg Vesttex.jpg leftshoebump.jpg leftshoetex.jpg rightshoebump.jpg rightshoetex.jpg Application Instructions: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio. 2. Empty the scene and then load V4. 3. Open the Character library and then StreetwiseV4. 4. Load the items of clothing you need. 5. Select V4 as the parent figure for each item of clothing. (DAZ Studio users donīt need to do this) 6. The clothing will now conform to V4īs body and poses. 7. IMPORTANT NOTE: After you have loaded the Sweatshirt figure and parented it to V4 turn off the checked option in the Figure menu (this is needed at the start so that the Sweatshirt conforms correctly to V4) if you leave this option checked you will not be able to use any of its morphs. 8. Should the Sweatshirt not be conforming to V4 absolutely correctly simply select the chest area and set the turn dial to -2 degrees, the second dial to 8 degrees and the bend dial to -1 degree. 9. Pose V4 using any of your favourite poses. 10. To correct any areas of slight poke through select the body of each item of clothing and use the morphs to make the adjustments needed. You can also hide any of V4's body parts e.g left and right thighs. Each item of clothing includes enough morphs for you to be able to have no poke through at all. 11. When you use the Jeans with the Shoes you will notice that they are poking through the shoes quite dramatically. To correct this simply select the body of the Jeans and set the morph for fit to shoes to 1.000 You can also use combinations of any of the other fitting morphs to get a perfect fit. The same may also be true for the Vest poking through the Sweatshirt slightly under the armpits. 12. If you want to use a body morph for V4 simply set it up as you want and then select the body of each item of clothing and set the corresponding body morph to the same value. NOTE: you may need to make adjustments to either the morphs or your pose to get a perfect fit. The clothing includes body morphs for Bodybuilder, Fitness, Young, Voluptuous and Heavy. 13. If you want to use the Shorts transparency map for the jeans simply set this map as the transparency map for the Jeans in the materials room or you surface settings in DAZ Studio. Map strength should be 100% and transparency also 100%. Tips and Limitations: When rendering the Sweatshirt from behind I recommend using a light coming from the front otherwise the inside of the hood will render very dark. I included templates for all the items for you to make your own textures. You can give away the textures you make for free or you can sell them. If you have any questions just drop me a line to the email address above. I hope you enjoy this outfit for V4! Cheers Adam
