Sugar for V4 by adamthwaites copyright 2010. http://www.most-digital-creations.com/sugar_victoria_4.htm All of this product's content was created by adamthwaites (Adam Thwaites) Product Support: Admin@most-digital-creations.com Files List: ReadMeSugar.txt (see the list below for all other included files) Needed Files List: Poser 5 or newer OR DAZ Studio (free or advanced) PLUS Victoria 4.2 Base figure NOTE: Will also work with Poser 4 but there are no .rsr thumbnail files included Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime is located OR to your DAZ Studio content folder. If you are using one of the newest versions of Poser you should click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Runtime\Geometries\Sugar\ Panties.obj Top.obj ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\Sugar\ Panties.cr2 Panties.png Top.cr2 Top.png ..\Runtime\libraries\Pose\Sugar\ Sugar ACTIVATE.png Sugar ACTIVATE.pz2 Sugar Body INJ.png Sugar Body INJ.pz2 Sugar Body REM.png Sugar Body REM.pz2 Sugar Head INJ.png Sugar Head INJ.pz2 Sugar Head REM.png Sugar Head REM.pz2 Sugar MAT.png Sugar MAT.pz2 ..\Runtime\libraries\Props\Sugar\ Clothing Magnets.png Clothing Magnets.pp2 ..\Runtime\textures\Sugar\ SugarEyeTrans.jpg SugarEyes.jpg SugarFace.jpg SugarFaceB.jpg SugarLashes.jpg SugarLimbs.jpg SugarLimbsB.jpg SugarTeeth.jpg SugarTeethB.jpg SugarTorso.jpg SugarTorsoB.jpg Application Instructions: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and load a fresh V4 figure into the scene. Turn off IK and zero the figure. 2. Open the Pose library and then open Sugar. 3. Load the poses as you require. To activate the morph load the Sugar INJ poses first and then the Sugar ACTIVATE pose. The Activate pose activates head AND body morphs. To load the head or body morph only load the Sugar INJ poses and then select the whole body of V4 and look for the morph dials in INJ Channels, Community. You can then set the dials to whatever value you like. 0.000 to 1.000 work best. The Sugar REM poses remove the morphs. 4. Load the MAT Pose to activate the textures. You may want to change the setting for the bump mapping. You can do this in the material room or surface select menu. See your handbook for details. 5. Open the Character library and then open Sugar. 6. Load the clothing items and conform them to V4. NOTE: Clothing will work best if you use the Sugar ACTIVATE pose and no custom morph settings. YOu should also load the Magnetise clothing pose that comes with the V4 base figure. 7. Pose the figure, add lights and render your scene. I would recommend using the highest quality render settings for your program and computer system. 8. How to use the included clothing magnets to help fit clothes to the Abbie body shape: Instructions for Poser: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the Sugar Props library. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet and adjust it using the dials e.g. Trans(x) etc. 6. Select each body part of the outfit in turn and click Object in the toolbar and then spawn morph target. 7. Give the morph targets the same name e.g. Sugar 8. When you have made a morph target for each body part you can delete all of the magnets. 9. Select each body part in turn once again and set the morph dial to 1.000 e.g. if you named your morph target abbie then set the Sugar morph dial to 1.000 10. Click Figure/Character in the toolbar and then spawn full body morph (it's the fourth option from the top). Enter a name for the FBM e.g. Sugar 11. Reset the figure. 12. Select the whole body and set the morph dial e.g Sugar to see it working. 13. Now all you need to do is save the item of clothing back into the library for future use. Instructions for DAZ Studio: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the Props Sugar content menu. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet in the scene menu and adjust it using the dials e.g. xtran etc. 6. Use the scene menu to select all of the body parts of the clothing. 7. In the D-Form menu click Spawn Morph. 8. Give the morph a name e.g. Sugar 9. In the scene menu click the small arrow at the top right and go to Select, Select all D-Forms. 10. Right click on one of the selected items and click remove from scene. DAZ Studio will now delete all of the magnets. 11. Click the small arrow again and go to Select, Select All. 12. Find the morph that you spawned in the dials menu e.g. Sugar and set it to 100%. 13. To save the morphed clothing you will need DeltaX15's MorphToCR2 script. You can get it here: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=44893&flatnum=1 or here http://4shared.com/dir/722776/10801f63/DS_Scripts.html 14. Follow the instructions included with the script to save the morphed clothing. I hope you enjoy this character for V4! If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above.
