Needed Files List:

Poser 7 or newer OR DAZ Studio 4.6 or newer (free, advanced or pro)



Installation Instructions:

1. DAZ Studio: Extract the Zip folder inside your DAZ Studio content folder ("My Library"). This can usually be found in Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library. 

2. Poser: Extract the Zip folder to the folder where your Poser Runtime folder is located or click the "Content" tab inside Poser, then click "Install From Zip Archive" and finally navigate to the zip file for this product that you downloaded.

3. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below.

Application Instructions:

1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio.

2. Open the Props library and then TheStairwell (DAZ Studio users need to open Poser Formats\My Library\Props\TheStairwell).

3. Load the props that you want to use.

4. Open the Light library and then TheStairwell (DAZ Studio users need to open DAZ Studio Formats\My Library\Light Presets\TheStairwell).

5. Load the lights that you want to use.

6. I recommend setting the focal length of the camera to around 25mm (DAZ Studio users need to create a new camera to be able to set focal length, see DAZ Studio documentation for details).

7. I recommend experimenting with the settings for each light in the set to see how they affect your scene.

8. You can change the transparency/opacity level of the Windows prop for different effects. See your manual for information on how to change transparency/opacity in the software you are using.

9. You can change the scale of the Backdrop prop to fill the background no matter what camera angle or perspective you are using.
