Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or DAZ Studio content folder. NOTE: if using an early German version of Poser remember to copy the folders found in the Runtime\libraries\Pose folder after extraction to Runtime\libraries\Posen, Props to Gegenstande, Character to Figuren or else the product will not function properly, this may also be true for other languages other than English. 2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below. Exact folder names and locations: ..\Runtime\Geometries\VirtualPerfection\ Bottom.obj Top.obj ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\VirtualPerfection\ Bottom.cr2 Bottom.png Bottom.rsr Top.cr2 Top.png Top.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Pose\VirtualPerfection\ VP Activate.png VP Activate.pz2 VP Activate.rsr VP Body REM.png VP Body REM.pz2 VP Body REM.rsr VP Body.png VP Body.pz2 VP Body.rsr VP Head REM.png VP Head REM.pz2 VP Head REM.rsr VP Head.png VP Head.pz2 VP Head.rsr VP M MAT.png VP M MAT.pz2 VP M MAT.rsr VP MAT.png VP MAT.pz2 VP MAT.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Props\VirtualPerfection\ Clothing Magnets.png Clothing Magnets.pp2 Clothing Magnets.rsr VP Hair.png VP Hair.pp2 VP Hair.rsr ..\Runtime\textures\VirtualPerfection\ VPEye.jpg VPEyeTrans.jpg VPFace.jpg VPFaceB.jpg VPFaceM.jpg VPHairColour.jpg VPHairTrans1.jpg VPHairTrans2.jpg VPLashes.jpg VPLimbs.jpg VPLimbsB.jpg VPTeeth.jpg VPTeethB.jpg VPTorso.jpg VPTorsoB.jpg ..\Materials\ VP M Preset.dsb VP M Preset.png VP Preset.dsb VP Preset.png Application Instructions: 1. Start Poser or DAZ Studio and load V4 into the scene. Turn off IK and zero the figure. 2. Open the Pose library and then open VirtualPerfection. 3. Load the poses as you require. To activate the morph load the VP Head and VP Body poses first and then the VP Activate pose. The Activate pose activates head AND body morphs. To load the morphs independently firstly load the VP Head or VP Body pose that you want to use and then select the whole body of V4 and look for the morph dial in INJ Channels, Community. You can then set the dial to whatever value you like. 0.000 to 1.000 work best. 4. Load a MAT Pose to activate the textures. The different MAT poses can be used to change the make up. You may want to change the setting for the bump mapping. You can do this in the material room or surface select menu. See your handbook for details. This pack now includes extra material presets for DAZ Studio. You can find them after unzipping to your content folder in the Studio folder with the S on the front (inside DAZ Studio in the folder tree) in Materials, VirtualPerfection. Select the figure and then load the material preset. 5. Open the Props library and then open VirtualPerfection. 6. Load the VP Hair prop after selecting V4. It will snap to V4's head automatically. Select the prop to view the different morphs available. 7. Open the Character library and then open VirtualPerfection. 8. Load one or both of the clothing figures and conform them to V4. Select the clothing figure to view the different adjustment morphs available. You can change the colour of the items easily in the material room or surface select menu. 9. Pose the figure, add lights and render your scene. I would recommend using the highest quality render settings for your program and computer system. 10. How to use the included clothing magnets to help fit clothes to the VP body shape: Instructions for Poser: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the VP morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the VirtualPerfection Props library. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet and adjust it using the dials e.g. Trans(x) etc. 6. Select each body part of the outfit in turn and click Object in the toolbar and then spawn morph target. 7. Give the morph targets the same name e.g. VP 8. When you have made a morph target for each body part you can delete all of the magnets. 9. Select each body part in turn once again and set the morph dial to 1.000 e.g. if you named your morph target VP then set the VP morph dial to 1.000 10. Click Figure/Character in the toolbar and then spawn full body morph (it's the fourth option from the top). Enter a name for the FBM e.g. VP 11. Reset the figure. 12. Select the whole body and set the morph dial e.g VP to see it working. 13. Now all you need to do is save the item of clothing back into the library for future use. Instructions for DAZ Studio: 1. Load the item of clothing that you want to add the VP morph to. 2. Zero the figures. 3. Load the Clothing Magnets from the Props VirtualPerfection content menu. 4. You will see the figure change shape. 5. To make any adjustments select a magnet in the scene menu and adjust it using the dials e.g. xtran etc. 6. Use the scene menu to select all of the body parts of the clothing. 7. In the D-Form menu click Spawn Morph. 8. Give the morph a name e.g. VP 9. In the scene menu click the small arrow at the top right and go to Select, Select all D-Forms. 10. Right click on one of the selected items and click remove from scene. DAZ Studio will now delete all of the magnets. 11. Click the small arrow again and go to Select, Select All. 12. Find the morph that you spawned in the dials menu e.g. VP and set it to 100%. 13. To save the morphed clothing you will need DeltaX15's MorphToCR2 script. You can get it here: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=44893&flatnum=1 or here http://4shared.com/dir/722776/10801f63/DS_Scripts.html 14. Follow the instructions included with the script to save the morphed clothing. I hope you enjoy this character, clothing and hair for V4!
