NOTE: The pack will also work with earlier versions of Poser (4, PP) and with DAZ Studio 1.5 with the following limitations: Poser 4/PP and DAZ Studio 1.5: Bump mapping will need to be set up manually. DAZ Studio 1.5 The FBMs do not work automatically with the V4 morphs and you will need to set them manually for each body part of each piece of clothing. All other morphs work fine. NOTE II: The V4 skin texture shown in the promo renders is NOT included. Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or your DAZ/studio/content folder. 2. Start Poser or DAZ Studio. 2. Empty the scene and then load V4. 3. Open the Character library and then WitchinV4. 4. Load the items of clothing that you want to use *IMPORTANT* Make sure you select V4 every time before you load an item of clothing or the automatic morphs will not work properly. 5. Parent each item to V4. 6. Open the Props library and then WitchinV4. 7. Load the props that you want to use. All of them are smart props and will snap to V4 automatically. 8. Open the Pose library and then WitchinV4. 9. Load one of the poses you want to use. 10. Materials set up: Poser 5/6/7 a) Select an item of clothing and then go to the materials room. b) Open the materials library and then WitchinV4. c) Select the material zone e.g. coat for the Coat figure and then load the Coat material from the library. This sets up the materials as they are shown in the promo renders. Poser 4/PP and DAZ Studio 1.5 You will need to set up the bump maps manually to get the effects you want. Please see your instruction manual. 11. Morphs: Poser 4/PP/5/6/7 a) The FBMs included in the clothing (Fitness, Young, Voluptuous) change automatically as you set the V4 body morph dials on the V4 figure. b) To use the other morphs simply select the whole body of the item of clothing you want to morph and then set the dials as you require. *IMPORTANT* When you load the boots and parent them to V4 you will see a certain amount of pokethrough. To solve this problem simply select the whole body of each boot and then set the morph dial for "Fit" to 1.000. A lot of pokethrough also occurs when you bend V4´s legs. To solve this problem simply set the parts of the leg that are covered by the boots to invisible. If you use a Voluptuous body morph on V4 you will see that the Shorts poke through the coat. To solve this simply select the whole body of the coat and set the "vol fix" dial until there is no more pokethrough. DAZ Studio 1.5 a) The FBMs do not work automatically in DAZ Studio and you will need to set them manually for each body part of each item of clothing. e.g. Set up your V4 figure with the morphs you want to use and then go through each body part of each item of clothing and set the morph to the same value. b) The other morphs work normally and can be set following the same instructions as step b) above. Tips and Limitations: If you use any extreme poses there may be some pokethrough on some items of clothing. You can usually solve this by adjusting your pose slightly. I included templates for all the items for you to make your own textures. You can give away the textures you make for free or you can sell them. If you have any questions just drop me a line at the email address above. I hope you enjoy this outfit for V4! Cheers Adam
